The role:
 

We are looking for someone with a passion to join our core production team as a senior member to support Contented in a time of rapid growth. The Senior Producer will be a pivotal role within the business. 

 

You will be an experienced client facing project lead with a collaborative approach to delivering projects at the highest level. You will be adept at taking projects through all stages from concept and brief, into production and delivery. You will be a key client liaison for a range of differing clients and tasked to deliver projects across a broad range of content outputs including film, animation, social, digital, stills, audio and photography. 

 

On a daily basis you will work closely with our creative and production teams, as well as our post-production team, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high creative standard.

 

You will bring a high degree of creative thinking and account management skills to take charge of the management of productions, as well as delegating tasks and reporting on the progress of the team. 

 

Overseeing complex and high-end campaigns, requiring skill and effort, whilst monitoring and working with a sharp eye for detail to plan and execute clear strategies and timelines. You will drive processes end-to-end for our clients whilst simplifying processes to encourage greater efficiency and productivity. You must be confident in decision making as a senior producer, whilst always ready to face new challenges and problem solve. 

 

You will work across our retained accounts to build bespoke retainer budgets and effectively manage client briefs, whilst being able to triage the priority of projects and allocate necessary resources.  You will be able to train other team members where necessary and manage the reporting of resource and spend monthly. 

 

You’ll be comfortable working with our talented in-house shooting and studio teams, as well as have a great black book of freelancers at your fingertips to be able to resource and manage effectively to hit deadlines.

 

You will report to and be line managed by our in-house Executive Producer (EP).

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Senior member of the production team to deliver projects of all mediums and complexities.

  • Be the point of contact for day-to-day client communications on your projects.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the client’s business and KPIs.

  • Develop/update, drive and implement appropriate plans for our retained accounts, working in collaboration with other team members to help us achieve operational and financial objectives.

  • Collaborate with creative and post-production teams to bring an expert commercial view.

  • Develop new processes and work systems in tandem with our key clients.

  • Work at a fast pace to prioritise workflows and manage resource to meet specific deadlines.

  • Oversee the financial running of a project including: scoping, tracking and reconciling jobs, including presenting to the client when needed.

  • Work closely with our Executive Producer to ensure the financial health of projects is reviewed and maintained to help contribute to internal objectives and commercial KPIs.

  • Be able to actively upsell into existing projects/clients to increase scope.

 

Requirements of you:
 

  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience working in a similar role.

  • Proven experience and track record of working in advertising or fast-paced production agency environment, particularly in the digital space.

  • Commercial proficiency in scoping projects of varying scales and budgets inc. retained accounts.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex and varied projects with an understanding of project management and budgeting on retained clients across digital, social audio (i.e. podcasts) and stills.

  • Experience having worked or managed social campaigns including paid media.

  • Willingness to attend shoots as the key production and client liaison of varying sizes. 

  • A good understanding of best practice for legal, compliance, rights and clearances.

  • Experience in localisation and transcreation for various markets.

  • Confidence as a great communicator - with colleagues and clients alike.

  • High level of organisation with brilliant prioritisation and multi-tasking skills.

  • You will be pragmatic and diligent to be able to manage expectations and find alternative solutions.

  • You will be a team player and willing to work at our client offices to embed with any necessary teams.
