England & Wales Cricket Board

In 2020, we were appointed as the ECB’s exclusive video production partner as they looked to expand their video and animated content output to deepen interest and engagement in cricket. We are now the largest creator of the ECB’s creative work.

Our remit was to play an important role in growing the game with new audiences, as well as deepening the passion for the game held by fans.

As their partner agency, we produce content across the following:

  • England men and women’s teams

  • The Hundred competition

  • Domestic competitions

  • Grassroot clubs

  • Commercial partners

Our shared goal across the ECB’s game-wide strategy of ‘Inspiring Generations’ is to drive audience engagement at every level of the game, across all social & owned digital channels.

From the outset, our shared aim was to become
an extension of ECB’s in-house team, executing production briefs as well as developing content strand ideas and the art direction of the ECB’s brands to create work with an audience-first approach.

AN EXTENSION OF ECB'S IN HOUSE TEAM.

Our portfolio includes documentary features, behind the

scenes fly-on-the-wall style content with teams, masterclasses, challenges and archive edits with an audience first approach.

Developing an always-on content approach has played a big part in growing the game with new audiences to help the ECB expand their video and animated content output considerably since 2021.

Over the two-year partnership we have helped the ECB win the battle for attention to deepen interest and engagement in cricket, which has generated follower growth across all channels to grow their database:

England Cricket IG - 1.7m to 2.5m
England Cricket Twitter - 1.7m to 1.5m
England Cricket Facebook - 5.9m to 7.5m

Creating both exclusive content for the ECB.co.uk channels, such as feature-length documentaries to celebrate the men & women Ashes series and static graphics to hero squad announcements and fixtures.

Producing top-quality content to engage existing audiences with cricket on ECB’s digital and social platforms, as well as creating social appropriate content targeting new audience segments.
